Digital remittances: which technologies will shape the market in the coming years?

Remittance flows are estimated to have increased from USD 865 billion in 2023 to USD 905 billion in 2024, a larger increase than previously projected (World Bank, 2024a; GMDAC analysis based on Ratha et al, 2024b). This growth comes amid a major shift in remittance services, driven by innovations that are making transactions faster, safer, and more accessible.

According to Spherical Insights & Consulting,the Global Digital Remittance Market Size to Grow from USD 18.76 Billion in 2022 to USD 95.1 Billion by 2032, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17.6% during the forecast period.
